REKROW “h” Product
The "h" represents the "hour" and the “human”.
For the countless “hours” it takes the “human” to collect, assort, unravel and unpick the workwear, then resew and transform it into our new product by hand.
REKROW will build and preserve a Circular Manufacturing platform that will pass on this region's skills and know-how for the future by imparting the manufacturing story of WORKER.

The Material
The No.1 material used for the REKROW garment originates from denim workwear garments that have been worn for a year in the shipyards of Setouchi. The fabric is originally from “Kaihara denim”, a local world-class Japanese quality denim mill. The materials used reflect the works of welders, riveters, and painters, and no two are alike. We carefully unpick each and every garment and repurpose them. Fading, discoloration, stains, broken threads, and holes are created naturally. All materials are unique. We dare to care to highlight their hard work.
The Unraveling
We collect all the workwear and then begin manually unpicking and unraveling each by hand, step by step. A single jacket can be divided into 25 parts, a pair of pants has over 20 parts.
The “unraveling” process can take up to five times longer than the “sewing”
process.
The “unraveling” process reveals a new shade and contrast that was previously
hidden and changed over time. With each step of the “Unraveling” process, you
can feel the value created by time. Each unique piece of the garment has been
combined individuality one by one by craftsmen. Good things take time.
The Product
All the workwear made, worn, and collected for the REKROW products is produced in a small area of Fukuyama city. This area has many skilled manufacturing factories that have continued for generations and can handle all areas from fabric, sewing, processing, and finishing.
